Jon Klapper

Starting in 1979, Jon has worked in the Construction Industry for over 30 years. He has extensive experience in both old and new home construction. He has worked on some of the finest homes in the Mid-Atlantic region and also museums, churches and other institutions. For over 20 years he was founder and president of Restoration Services, Inc. in the Washington DC area. He is now owner of Federal Hill Improvements in Baltimore.

Jon graduated from The Ohio State University with a MFA in Fine Arts and has lived in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood for over 25 years with his wife Virginia Gerhart, a writer.

Frances Grooms

'Fran' is a lifelong resident of Baltimore who graduated from Southern High School. He has been working as an apprentice carpenter for 3 years.
